I recently had the opportunity to do a family photo session in Temecula for the Kempton family. They had planned a family reunion at an AirBnb in Wine Country of Temecula but their relatives all canceled because of Covid 19! They were disappointed that no-one else came but on the other hand they had the whole place to themselves.
I asked them how they found me and they said that they did a Google search for Temecula Family Photographer. I’m so glad that my website popped up for them! They liked the vibe of my photography so we made the session date official.
It was a really fun session! We played games and played with the kids. The kids were shy but we got lots of smiles. Two times during the photo session the sprinklers turned on! they didn’t get too wet.
This family photo session was amazing because the small vineyard we a great backdrop as well as the other landscaping. The view beyond the property to the rest of wine country was wonderful and the sunset was just right! This is why I love being a Temecula Family Photographer!
These are just a few of the gorgeous images from this family photo session. To see their full gallery click here! If you love these images, give me a call or write a message in the contact form of this website and I will reach out to you. Click on this button.
The session with the Elliot family was a dream! They played and laughed and didn’t stress at all. I just recently did my own family session so I know how stressful sessions can be but when families try to put all of that behind them and live in the moment, things really go well and I’m able to capture a lot of great moments.
As a photographer in Temecula I love venturing over to the beach to do some family sessions! It’s a real treat!
Josie is the mom of this family and she works with my husband. She told him that at their last family session with another photographer she told them that their kids were to hard to photograph and so she didn’t get anything of them individually. Josie appreciated that I ran after the kids and still got some individuals of them. I didn’t take no for an answer in a very loving way of course!
It’s not always easy to get kids pose and smile when they are a toddler or preschooler but I have 4 kids so I know how little kids are and I give it everything I’ve got at these photo sessions. I know what moms go through just to arrive color coordinated with everyone’s hair combed. It’s hard but so so worth it! I hope that each family session is so fun that when they look at their prints afterwards they remember what a wonderful time they had!!
Recently my family went to a beach house in Oceanside for 3 days. I had big plans to take family pictures and create a new wall gallery for my home. It was harder than I thought it would be to be the photographer and the mom at the same time but we managed to get some photos that I like. While I will probably hire or trade with another photographer next time so I can just be the mom during our family photo session, it was so wonderful to have these new beautiful beach images to display in my home!
What do you think of our new wall gallery? This is the design. I’ll be ordering it from my preferred professional printing lab next week. I can’t wait!!
This is Allie, a senior from Great Oak high school. We did her portraits at a forest and meadow in Murrietta last weekend. We had so much fun and the images turned out beautifully! It’s not too late to book a senior portrait session! I have openings on Tuesday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s an hour before sunset. I hope to hear from you soon!
The Gaya family is so amazing with their 5 kids and amazing connection! They are one of those families that watch and try to learn from because they are so fun, laid back and they really know how to build a strong connection with their kids. The mom, Kelly is my husbands cousin so I’ve know them for 16 years, before they had any kids. They wanted kids sooo bad!
They had to go through a lot to get their 5 kids. I could go on for ever talking about it. Needless to say, they actually have 7 kids because two have passed in from this life. Two little angels who were triplets with their one daughter Abby. Abby has been through a lot to stay here with us. She’s absolutely amazing! She’s a miracle!
I love and admire this sweet family for their amazing examples!
This session was particularly meaningful because their baby girl passed away recently and they brought a little teddy bear that represented her because when she was in the hospital they had given her this teddy bear. Their other daughter held a teddy bear and many of the pictures. It was so sweet!
You could really feel that this family loves each other. The way they interact and calmly and smiled and joked so much. It was truly a joy!
They chose to have the photos taken at a winery here in Temecula because they wanted to have surroundings that represent to Temecula such as grape vines as their back drop. They moved here this last year and it has been a lot of fun getting to know them!
This is a perfect example of a full portrait session. It was one hour which gives plenty of time for images that reflect moments of playing, interacting, snuggling, laughing all without the stress of the clock ticking. These images show authentic family connection which is what I strive for in ever session!!
The Charles family photo session was magical! They snuggled and laughed and had so much fun! How do families achieve such closeness? It’s an ongoing process right? As a mother of 4 I’ve learned a lot the past 15 years. Patience is at the top of that list! There’s a term that I’ve grown to really appreciate, “Intentional Parenting”. Those two words say so much!
I try to stop and listen when they interrupt me in the middle of a task, I try to give lots of hugs and kisses, I try to bite my tongue when they say or do something really irritating. Just keep trying! Just keep loving! That’s the key!
Downtown Temecula is an amazing place to do senior session! There are so many nooks and crannies to take photos! We always start at the bridge by Penny Pickles. I love the leading lines of the bridge and the strong beams on the sides of the bridge! Then we go to a narrow corridor with a red brick wall on one side and vines on the other side. The red brick wall has a rustic feel to it and the area has great lighting! Then we move on to the rustic wood staircase. It has a very masculine look to it and is just the right size. There big beams on the sides that are great for leaning agains. The journey then continues to the water fountain by city hall. The front, sides, close up and far away…anyway to slice it it looks awesome!! I love doing senior sessions in Old Town Temecula!!
